The cultivation of tea in India has a long history !!! India is one of the largest tea produces in the world, though 70% of the tea is consumed in India itself. India has gained high reputation throughout the world for its tea plantations mainly in Assam, Darjeeling, Kerala, Dooars, Nilgiri.
Indian tea industry has grown to its own tea brand and has evolved to one of the most technologically equipped tea industry in the world.
Highlights – The tour takes you to the famous tea and coffee gardens in India with also visit to Tea Estates, Factories. Most of the tea and coffee gardens are located in most scenic spots. The tour also make you meet the tea estate owners and spend time with them learning the history of the same.

Day 01: Arrive Bangalore

Meeting and assistance on arrival and check into hotel
Afternoon half day city sightseeing tour of BANGALORE Garden City’ visiting the Lal Bagh which has a variety of old trees. Fountains, Lotus pools, Terraces and an assortment of tropical herbs and sub-tropical herbs. Also see the Government buildings and the Maharaja’s Palace.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 : Mysore

Morning leave by surface for Mysore enroute visiting SRIRANGAPATNAM – 16 kms from Mysore, this was the stronghold of Tippu Sultan, son of Hyder Ali. Tippu made a last minute ditch against the British in 1799 before surrendering his kingdom. Among the many fort buildings still intact, are Tippu’s airy summer palace and his tomb at the Darya Daulat Bagh (garden). Here is also the Sri Ranganatha Temple.
On arrival check into hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 : In Mysore

Morning half day city sightseeing tour of MYSORE visiting the palace of Maharaja built in 1911-12. The piece of harmonious synthesis of the hindu and saracenic styles of architecture with archyways, domes turrets, colonnades and sculptures which are magnificient. Visit the Art gallery drive upto Chamundi hill to see the Chamundeshwari temple and a panaromic view of Mysore. Also visit the Nandi Bull.
Afternoon visit BRINDAVAN GARDEN one of the best and most beautiful garden in India.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 : In Mysore

Day return trip to Hassan, Belur and Halebid.
BELUR AND HALEBID at Sravanbelagola, hewn out of a single rock and visible from a distance of 25 kms is the statue of Lord Gomteshwara which is bathed with milk and honey once every 12 years. The Chenna Kesava temple of Belur built 900 years ago is an exquisite example of Hoysala art. Halebid’s 12th century Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples are masterpieces of Hindu art.

Day 05 : Chickmagalur

Morning leave by surface for Chickmagalur on arrival check into Coffee Estate Bungalow.
Afternoon explore the beautiful sites at coffee estate.
Evening relax around a bonfire, followed by a delectable Barbeque dinner.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 : In Chickmanalur

Morning breakfast later leave for Methikhan Tea Estate – This is an unique tea estate as it has got tea and coffee. In the same estate mix – factory visit, tea garden visit, interaction with the Manager.
Afternoon visit to Tea factory, tea garden and interact with the estate Manager
Evening relax around a bonfire, followed by a delectable Barbeque dinner.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 : In Coorg

Morning breakfast later proceed to Coorg, On arrival check into Tea Estate Resort.
After lunch Tea estate tour (800 acres area) or visit Dubare Elephant Camp, Irpu fall.
Evening relax around a bonfire, followed by a delectable Barbque dinner.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 08 : In Coorg

Morning breakfast later proceed to Tea factory visit in estate and interaction with Manager
Afternoon tea tasting & cupping session and meeting with Manager on making white tea
or activities optional visit Bylekuppe Buddhist Monastery / White water rafting / Play
Golf at our Golf course.
Evening free for leisure, Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 : Leave Coorg / Bangalore

Early morning do guided Bird watching and nature walk tour.
Later breakfast and proceed for Bangalore. On arrival on time transfer to airport to connect flight to International Airport or connect flight to Kerala visiting more Tea, Coffee and spice plantations.
