Day 01 Arrive Colombo / Negombo

On Arrival in Colombo you will be greeted by our team member and your chauffer driver guide at the airport. Later take a leisurely drive, just under 30 minutes into Negombo, a fishing village.
Once at the comforts of your hotel, relax and recover from any jet lag at the ayurveda centre.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Negombo / Sigiriya

Today set off from coastal Negombo to experience Sri Lanka’s inland delights over the next few days. Relish this picturesque journey as you pass Kurunagala’s towering Lord Buddha statue upon a rock, the rice paddy fields and more. Arrive your residence - where you will staying in your very own dwelling – a villa upon stilts overlooking the wetlands.

Day 03 In Sigiriya

Today enjoy the day at your chalet, which will be one of the twenty-five spread across a vast twenty-four acres of land. Do inquire when booking as some chalets have their own private plunge pool. Day 04 Sigiriya / Kandy

Today you will be taking approximately a three hours drive to the relaxing hill station of Kandy, surrounded by virgin forests broken by the great Mahaweli River. Kandy is also well known as the centre of Buddhism and the capital of the last Sinhalese kingdom.
Having checked in and refreshed at hotel, take a city tour of Kandy including the market place, pollah and the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses Sri Lanka’s most sacred relic, a tooth of the Lord Buddha. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 In Kandy

Spend a lazy day at this contemporary all suite property. We suggest dipping in the pool and looking down on the city of Kandy, which are great from the height of Theva Residency. If you would like to during the day take a guided stroll through the lush Royal Botanical Gardens of Peredeniya for an introduction to tropical flora.

Day 06 Kandy / Hatton

Take a scenic three hours drive to Hatton, specifically the Bogowantalawa Estate known as the golden valley of tea. From Kandy ascend to the tea plantation of Hatton,. Find yourself surrounded by rolling green hills all circling the calm Castlereigh lake. Follow the trail of four cozy colonial bungalows restored from the time of the Raj. You will be greeted by your personal butler who will attend to you throughout your stay as well as the executive chef with whom you can plan your dining options.

Day 07 In Hatton

This morning take a guided walk through the tea plantation and follow the trail of the planters of old Ceylon with the resident tea planter, looking for the best slopes on which to plant tea. Watch tea pickers in action and continue to the factory to see the processes that create world-class tea. Taste the different grades of this great brew before returning to your bungalow. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 08 Hatton / Wadduwa

One of Sri Lanka’s charm is that how in a short time you will pass from the hills to the meandering rivers, past the farms, then to idyllic coast of Wadduwa. Here you will be staying at Serene Pavilions, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Set amidst a large coconut grove with incredible views of the Indian Ocean find your find your very own suite.

Day 09 In Wadduwa

Marvel at the raw beauty of Sri Lanka’s coast, spending the day carefree. As you step out on the sands don’t be surprised if your footprints are one of the few as the beach is fairly privately. In this way, Serene Pavilions give you are your lover seclusion and privacy.

Day 10 In Wadduwa

Day free for relax and enjoy Wadduwa on own.

Day 11 In Wadduwa

If you wish to step out, the country home of a renowned architect – Geoffrey Bawa is nearby and well worth a visit for an alfresco lunch. Other local attractions are the serene Bentota river boat ride or for the more adventurous - the thrill of water sports.

Day 12 Wadduwa / International Airport

As all good things must come to an end, your chauffeur guide with comfortable take you back to the international airport for a safe journey home.
